CINCINNATI,Ohio– On a cold Friday night, the visiting Fort Wayne Komets defeated the Cincinnati Cyclones 6–0 at Heritage Bank Center. Cincinnati was outshot 30–23 on a night when nothing seemed to work for the home team.
Fort Wayne opened the scoring in the first period on a goal by James Stefan (his 14th of the season) and added three more in the second, including tallies from Reece Harsch, Matt Miller, and Austin Magera. In the third period, Blake Murray and Alex Aleardi finished off the scoring. Komets goaltender Sam Jonsson made 23 saves for his fourth shutout of the season.
