CINCINNATI, Ohio– On New Year’s Eve, the Cincinnati Cyclones earned a 4–3 overtime victory over the visiting Indy Fuel. After falling behind 2–0, Indy rallied and took a 3–2 lead when Cody Laskosky scored 16:21 into the second period.
Cincinnati captain Justin Vaive forced overtime by tying the game at 3 with 1:11 remaining in the third period. Ryan Kirwan then netted the game-winning goal at the 4:25 mark of overtime.
