CINCINNATI, Ohio– On Sunday afternoon, the visiting Indy Fuel defeated the Cincinnati Cyclones 3-1 at the Heritage Bank Center. Indy struck first when Brandon Schultz scored in the first period and then added a second-period tally from Jesse Tucker. Cincinnati’s Ryan Kirwan got one goal back in the second period, but Indy sealed the victory with an insurance goal by Eric Martin in the third.
The Fuel controlled the shot totals, outshooting Cincinnati 26–16, and maintained defensive composure to preserve the win over the Cyclones.
