Miami RedHawks forward David Deputy has received an invitation to the Boston Bruins’ 2026 NHL Development Camp, per a report from Mark Divver on Twitter.

Deputy led the RedHawks in goals with 15, adding seven assists for 22 points, finishing third on the team in scoring during Miami’s historic turnaround under second‑year head coach Anthony Noreen.

The NCHC Rookie of the Year finalist averaged 17:34 minutes of ice time, which climbed throughout the season after he battled a few injuries during camp and the early months.

The undrafted 21‑year‑old scored three game‑winners, four power‑play goals, and logged significant minutes in all situations, including top‑line usage as a freshman in the NCHC. He also added two shorthanded goals and played important roles on both the penalty kill and the man advantage.

Deputy is expected to be an integral piece of Miami’s continued rise in the daunting NCHC next season, as a stacked roster continues to take shape.
