CINCINNATI, Ohio– On Saturday night, FC Cincinnati rescued a point against Charlotte FC with a dramatic 3-3 draw at TQL Stadium. It was a special night for the Orange and Blue as the club celebrated Noche Latina, honoring the Hispanic and Latin American community.
Cincinnati struck first through Pavel Bucha in the second minute, but Charlotte quickly responded. Liel Abada tied the match in the seventh minute before Pep Biel converted a penalty in the 17th, sending Charlotte into halftime with a 2-1 lead.

In the second half, FC Cincinnati found the equalizer in the 51st minute when Andrei Chirila’s shot was redirected into the net by Kévin Denkey. The celebration was brief, however, as Charlotte regained the lead just four minutes later through Idan Toklomati.

Cincinnati never gave up. The Orange and Blue pushed forward looking for the equalizer, and Denkey delivered again in the 90+1st minute, scoring his second goal of the night to make it 3-3. The brace ended a six-match MLS scoring drought for Denkey, who had not scored since July 25.

Cincinnati managed to earn a point despite the absence of star midfielder Evander, who missed the match due to yellow-card accumulation. With the draw, FC Cincinnati sits ninth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 8-8-8 and 32 points, with 10 regular-season matches remaining.
